Absolutely stunning Catholic wedding photography in Santa
Clarita at Saint Kateri Catholic Church with a reception that followed in the
church hall.
If you have been following me with this couple, then you
know that this is truly a match made in heaven. Just take a look at the love
between them in their engagement session! I have had the pleasure of getting to
know both Bob and Joelyn over the past several months and they are such a joy
to work with. I absolutely love capturing the beautiful moments for a couple
when love is so prominent and this is no exception.
We started off the day with their first look at Grace
Baptist church down the street from their ceremony site. Grace Baptist has a
beautiful outdoor amphitheater and baptismal pool that laid the perfect scene
for the first look photos as well as all of the bridegroom photos, family
formals, and bridal party shots. I have to say, this has to have been by far
the most fun I have had photographing a wedding. The bridal party had so much
energy, it made for some ingenious photos. Bob comes from a large and crazy
energetic family that reminded me much of my own. So it was very cool to work
with them!
After the wedding photos that we took at Grace Baptist, we
strolled over to Saint Kateri Catholic Church for the ceremony. What a
beautiful ceremony site it is. The church is the greatest combination of
antiqueness with a modern flair. It is spacious and grand to mirror the glamour
and resilience of their wedding. Capturing wedding photography at St. Kateri
Church was nothing short of an blessing, especially because the love between
Joelyn and Bob was so present. God was truly present blessing their union.
The reception in the church hall didn’t cease to stop the
party! Graham Silver kept the party moving with his energetic vibes and the
toasts were hands down some of the funniest I have heard in a long time. So
